UPDATE

For those of you still around, I received new lenses the other day.  As a result of the surgery, the focal lengths had changed, leaving my right eye--uncorrected--at dog and stick stage and my left eye waaaaay different.  I can now see but still have double vision due to the swelling, but I'm going to try to write a piece on Monday.  The world needs me...I think.
